EdgeTX open source system

The V16 has the EdgeTX open source firmware pre-installed. EdgeTX is open-source firmware for remote control transmitters used in radio-controlled (RC) applications such as model aeroplanes, drones, model ships and model vehicles. It is highly customisable, allowing users to configure their transmitters and adjust the settings according to their individual preferences and specific needs.

EdgeTX supports a variety of RC protocols, making it a popular choice in the RC community. Its flexible and powerful features make it a versatile tool for advanced users looking to take their RC activities to the next level.

4N1 Radio System

The V16 is offered with an internal 4N1 RF module. The 4N1 multi-protocol radio system includes the NRF24L01, CC2500, A7105, and CYRF6936 RF chips. It is compatible with HoTT, Futaba SFHSS, FrSky, DSM/DSMX, Walkera Devo, FlySky, AFHDS2A, Hubsan, HiSky, Syma, and ASSAN protocols.
The 4N1 LBT version (Europe) is limited to LBT-compliant protocols: HoTT, FrSKY X/X2 LBT, and DSMX.

T-Antenna:

This newly developed, patented design ensures excellent signal quality and increased range. It can also be folded out to serve as a carrying handle.
